Toyota Financial Services Gives Back to the Community in Celebration of its 'GoGreen' Campaign

In order to properly celebrate the success of the "GoGreen" campaign, Toyota Financial Services (TFS) has decided to give back more to the community. As we have mentioned the automaker's involvement with the community before here on our Kerry Toyota blog, we are excited to once again uncover how Toyota is going above and beyond.

TFS has decided to double its donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America as its "GoGreen" campaign draws to a close, providing the non-profit organization with $200,000. The goal of the campaign, which runs for about three months, is to get customers to sign up for paperless billing statements. When bills are due, they will simply receive email notifications instead and will also be able to access statements from mobile devices. With every customer that joins, TFS donates $5 to the organization.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America will greatly benefit from the donation and also be putting it to good use. Karen Ideno, Vice President of Product & Marketing for TFS explains, "By signing up for paperless billing, our customers are not only helping to greatly reduce the volume of paper statements that TFS/LFS sends each month, they are supporting BGCA's after-school and life-skills programs, and their numerous 'green' activities, such as recycling projects and community clean-ups."1

With the success of the campaign, the TFS is well on its way to meeting its goal of converting 16 percent of its portfolio to becoming paperless by the end of March. Here are Kerry Toyota, we are proud of the automaker's continued efforts to become more environmentally friendly, while at the same time giving back to the community.
