Performance
The 2016 Toyota Camry is equipped with a choice of two gasoline-powered engines. These are the standard 2.5-liter 178 horsepower 4-cylinder engine and a more robust 268 horsepower 3.5-liter V6 that registers under 60 seconds in a 0 to 60 mph sprint. The Hybrid versions are powered by 2.5-liter Atkinson cycle four-cylinder and Toyota’s Hybrid Synergy Drive System. Each front-wheel drive, 5-passenger Camry is managed by a 6-speed automatic transmission. The EPA-rated fuel economy for the 4-cylinder gasoline models is 25 mpg city/35 mpg highway.
Interior
As you enter the Camry, notice more soft and padded areas throughout the interior than in previous years. These details impart a feeling of luxury and quiet to the overall driving experience. Seating is available in high quality sport fabric with SofTex or full sport leather trim UltraSuede depending on the trim style chosen. Standard on the new Camry is an 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat and dual zone climate control. An available power/tilt/slide sunroof can add light and a breath of fresh air to the driving experience as well.
Features
Each 2016 Toyota Camry comes with an Entune Audio System with a 6.1 –inch touchscreen. Bluetooth connectivity allows for hands-free calling and streaming music and entertainment. Available on some models is Premium Audio with Integrated Navigation and App Suite. The multi-information display provides easy management of entertainment, call sending and receiving, navigation and interior climate control. A rear view camera is included on all trim configurations.
Safety
Standard on the 2016 Toyota Camry are automatic sensors that turn your LED headlights on or off as needed. In addition, the Camry is equipped with 10 airbags for the protection of the driver and all passengers. Available is Adaptive Cruise Control, a feature which maintains a constant distance from the vehicle ahead, slowing while the other slows. Other collision-avoidance features include Lane Departure Alert, Pre-Collision System with high beams, Blind Spot Monitoring and a rear cross traffic alert system.
